HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BFF PEI EN!27th dec was her 21st birthday & it was a blast! we went to her place and surprised her on 26th 12am. thanks to all who came down and celebrated her bdae!
on her actual day which was sat aft svc, we had part 2! LOL. and it was successful cause she didnt even expect her cg to surprise her yet again.
what happened was they did a fake celebration for her w a smashed up cake & lousy card with no bdae messages at all. the worst was they didnt give her any present.
BFF was utterly disappointed and shared with me about it. me & victor knew about the plan all these while and just pretended like we didnt noe anything and comforted her.
we brought her to the steamboat place at novena. the place was super packed but the FOOD was awesome :) yumm yumm.
thennn N380 came over & gave her a good celebration! they bought a big cake with a nice red heart shaped card with a lock. sooo sweeet lah.
then they gave her a pair of shoes bought by sophia :D
took a group photo. had fun fellowshipping with them. then they had to go off.
so me , vic & BFF continued makaninggg there to make our $20.90 worth.

last sat service was very different cause Pst Kong did an interview with Sun.
i must say that it was really good because i learn so many things out of that one interview. Sun mentioned that some christians tend to have an elite mindset where they think that they are better than others which should not be the case. instead we as christians ought to humble ourselves and learn from one other. there are so many other non christians out there in the media who are working twice as hard & yet doing so well in that industry.
God has given us the freedom to be creative in many ways. we should make full use of our gifts/talents He has placed in each of us and maximise it to the fullest! :)
Sun is really an inspiration to me. watching all the videos where she has done humanitarian works in various places like china, sri lanka, medan etc has really warmed my heart. personally i enjoy doing social work too. on a adhock basis, i will set aside time to help out at citycare. i believe that in doing this i am able to make a difference in someone esle's life.
if more of us were to help out doing voluntary work or go for missions, more lives will be changed & transformed :)
i will feel a sense of joy and happiness knowing that i have blessed someone in one way or another.
recently, i have been working everyday since 26th dec.
been working at the metro sale at expo hall 5, selling cosmetics :)
the last day of the sale is on 4th jan.
5th of jan i start school already and the first day is PHP. God i really need your guidance for my last 3 weeks of school before moving on to year 3.
looking forward to 2009 :D
