SPECIFIC communication

Bro Justin was just sharing with us today during cg that specific communication is impt.
take for example, i have a birthday party and i invited Jane to the party. however, she tells me that, "OH, i can't make it cause i got something on."

by giving me that answer, it leaves me the impression that she does not really care how i might feel. if she tells me the valid reason why she can't make it, then i'm fine with it.

IF NOT...

i will then ask her in return, "What do you have ?"

it will be a continuous process which MIGHT be nvr ending. & at times it will lead to misunderstanding. might as well save the time and trouble by conveying the message SPECIFICALLY there and then.

this tells us how important it is to have specific communication everywhere we go.
we really got to make it a habit in our lives. :D

each of us also shared what we wanna thank God for and a prayer that we needed.
after i shared all these, i said one thing:

"if you are FAITHFUL in the little things, God will entrust you with greater responsiblities!"

this statement has been with me ever since i was under Sis Jialing in E348 days.

& it was so in lined with what Pastor preached today! he also mentioned that God will bless us with greater things when we are faithful in the little ! WOW.

even in the area of giving, i believe my capacity is being stretched because Arise and Build is just coming up. Pastor said this, if you can't even give $10 out of your $100 what makes you think you can give $100 out of $1000?

which is sooo true cause we got to be faithful esp in our tithes then God will prosper us in our finances, studies, work etc..

let's not have a POVERTY mindset today but a PROSPERITY mindset! :)
