the 1st part of the meeting when Jimmy Yiem came and shared w us the case of the novena church. i was really taken aback cause i didnt noe what exactly happened. but i am glad that he took the time to explain to us abt his concerns esp. now i am definitely more aware of what to do if i am ever in that kind of situation like the story that happened in 2004. shall not go into detail abt it. hahaa.
2nd part of the meeting, pst Kong showed us a 1hr documentary of New Life Church in Taipei led by Pst Abraham Khoo. i tell you i was simply blown away by everything they have come up with as a church. they have a spirit of excellence in everything they do!
their goals and vision of the church is very accurate and precise. they even show a step by step procedure of how they wanna see these goals being achieved. they even had a pub area for people to relax & a "clubbling" room for people to dance to the beat of the music. they are people who dare to be different and not religious.
and they have 30 ++ celebrities in their church so far ! how AMAZING is that ? pst feels so much for our church. whats more we a church of 24,000 with the resources we have, we can do SO SO MUCH MORE ! (: the people were not afraid to step out to press into the lives of the celebrities in the entertainment industries.
let's really do something abt it yeah ? this YOUTHEM 08 is gonna be da boom! different, out of the box! :D
